Dance Dance Revolution DDRMAX will feature DVD playback, meaning there will be full motion videos and smoother game play. Introduced into Dance Dance Revolution DDR for the first time is the "Freeze Arrows." You must hold your foot down on the corresponding arrow. There is also an option called "Reverse" which makes the arrows scroll down instead of up! If that isn't challenging enough for you, there is also a mode called "Boost" which slows the arrows down and rapidly increases the speed of the arrows as it scrolls.
